U.S Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee mat not have the glam & glitz nor the celebrity endorsements (Chuck Norris is not a celebrity) but what he lacks in Hollywood and foreign affairs quotient, he makes up for in pure guts (which may also be camouflaged naïveté.). His latest ad campaign is simple but I predict he will gain legions of fans with it.
Who would have thought wishing a Merry Christmas would be considered daring?

December 18, 2007It’s not that I agree with the commercial is that at least, I know what Huckabee is thinking, what he stands for. With all this politcal correctness, many of the politicians sound the same until you get them into office and they blinside you with positions that are impossible to defend. In my opinion, Huckabee is a dangerous conservative. Dangerous because he has been able to dissimulate how conservative he is which has fooled more than one future voter.

December 19, 2007Yes, I heard Christiane Charette this morning. Geez, it’s as if she were interviewing the guy who cured polio. Paris Match, c’est Paris Match and so it doesn’t bother me that they are going bezerk with that story (nota bene: the Editor is an old chum of Sarkozy). What bothers me, is seeing a publication like L’Express going crazy as well. Now, I wait (in fear) for the next Monde Diplo. Can’t wait to see if they’ll crack under pop-cultural pressure.
