Condi Rice is Not My Homegirl.
When she learned of President Musharraf’s resignation, U.S. Secretary of State Condeleeza Rice praised him for his strides and efforts against terrorism. I beg your pardon, Condi? Are you serious? Perhaps Ms. Rice needs to be reminded that President Musharraf took over power in a coup which is the most blatant disregard for Democracy. And did she forget that throughout his stay in power he was a great offender of civil rights? I understand he was the Bush Administration’s puppet but Condi needs to try to keep some objectivity.
It was a proud moment when Condeleeza Rice was named Secretary of State but since then, she has proven to be a disappointment. She was the brains of the White House and more often than not, she chose not to use them.
