So many distracters. Is Peace supposed to bring out so much hate? I draw many comparisons between President Barack Obama and Martin Luther King because of their similar abilities to rally people, all people, behind the same ideals.

The stone-throwers complain of President Obama’s lack of accomplishment. The reality is that Nobel Peace Prize winner Martin Luther King was bestowed with the award for his dream which has yet to be accomplished as there is still no equality between the races. You think we are not still often judged by the colour of our skin? We often are, hence the necessity of a Barack Obama.
The Nobel committee cites President Obama received the award for “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples“. The Prize was perhaps remitted to The Prez but is it also a nod to those who voted for him and to all those who believe in him. Thank you, Nobel Prize committee. I’m humbled by the recognition.
